Parga Beach Resort

The studio was brand new and very clean and the Kokona restaurant was nice.

Landscape is great, especially in the old part. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The see is quite clean and blue. The children pool was fantastic, for kids and parents. Close to Parga city enough for evening walks. The special thematic dinner nights were a very good surprise.

The staff is consistently polite, helpful, and well-informed. The recently constructed facilities are excellent, offering numerous choices for families with children and also appealing to younger couples. The beach is truly remarkable, providing a wide array of options beyond the hotel, such as beach bars, restaurants, water sports, and convenient access to the city of Parga. Breakfast at Kokones was exceptional.

We stayed at the hotel for seven nights in early August. Our room had a partial sea view, which was a plus, as most rooms overlook the gardens, and many are now located in a newer annex across the road, farther from the beach. The gardens themselves are beautifully kept and perfect for an evening walk. The main facilities – including two restaurants and a bar – are set along the beachfront, offering spectacular views, especially at sunset. The beach is crescent-shaped, with coarse golden sand and clear, cold waters. While busy during peak hours, it never felt overcrowded. The hotel mainly attracts families with young children, especially from Scandinavia and the UK. Our room was spacious and clean, with a small grassy area and sunbeds outside. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Hot water, however, ran out quickly, and the exterior doors lacked interior locks, which could feel a bit insecure at night. Food was the weakest aspect. The buffet (both breakfast and dinner) lacked variety and flavor. Additionally, staff were often too pushy about selling wine and drinks, both at meals and on the beach, where service could be slow despite their generally polite demeanor. Wi-Fi was also unreliable, especially near the beach, although the hotel showed willingness to address this. On the bright side, the massage service was outstanding — both therapists were highly skilled and exceeded our expectations. Free activities like swimming lessons for kids and evening beachside movie screenings were also very successful. Despite a few issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

What I liked the most was that each family could have privacy, thanks to the rich vegetation. The resort is full of trees and flowers, so on hot summer days you can hide from the sun. We had a private pool, the water of which was checked regularly. One morning I surprised the resort employees taking samples of the pool water. Also, the cleanliness was impeccable. Every day they clean and change the towels and bed sheet. The facilities were impeccable, 5 stars. The food was delicious, varied, but every day you had the same thing, a few things changed on the menu. The cakes were different every day. Unlike other 5 star resorts, all drinks are paid for, including water, even if you have half board. I'm not necessarily saying that it's a minus, I guess this is their policy. The beach is very clean, as is the water. You can always find a free and clean sunbed, and these are included for those staying. It is an excellent location for any age, for couples, but also for families with children, because there are activity options for everyone.
